Updates to AresServ

AresServ has been in need of some fixes for some time. Finally being home with the flu has allowed this to happen. Here is the list of changes:

  • We noticed some people appending @ to their masks. Although this obviously wasn't a requirement, we were forced to reject these applications since the @ is always added by the server and is an invalid mask. The application form now strips this and other silly additions from masks.

  • Moderators can now give a reason for an application rejection which is passed onto the person who made the application. This should make it a little more obvious to people why their application was rejected and what they can do to get a successful application.

  • People were confused about the form returning you back to itself on submission which resulted in many duplicate requests. The form will now tell you your application was processed successfully.

  • Some command typos and links were updated in the service and the application form.
